Witch Elf Specs

I'm taking this thread in a bit of a different direction now, keeping some common/tested builds in the OP. Feel free to submit your own. Just link the wardb address and give a description/usage.

OYK Carnage/Treach: http://www.wardb.com/career.aspx?id=22# ... 0:9:672:29
Picks up the damage and buff from Pierce Armor, and a ranged KD from OYK. RR 50 at a minimum, but 60 is better as you can get both elixirs. Great for scenarios, 2 KD's, but more restricted to burst damage due to using KoA over KoB, heal debuffs are also limited. Best option for killing tanks due to the armor penetration from EoIP and PA/AW, and large damage packets. KoA will give you about a 3-4% boost to crit rate, more on targets with low initiative.

Full Treachery: http://www.wardb.com/career.aspx?id=22# ... :15:672:29
The spammiest of builds, good for lower CR/RR as you can just step Treachery up/down and still get some utility skills without having to respec at every level. The boost to AW from going fulll Treachery isn't as big as you'd expect, because most of the damage comes from ignoring armor rather than base damage. You can get BLBlade at higher RR, but at that point you're better off with something else. Run Frenzied Mayhem to boost your crit.

Crit Treachery: http://www.wardb.com/career.aspx?id=22# ... :523::9450
Similar to the above build, but benefits from specific end-game gear and RR points to amp up the damage beyond the other builds. High crit rate is key here, with 60% being a good number to shoot for. A solid dps-support build for scenarios while still retaining the ability to heal debuff. Sacrificial stab doesn't hit for much, so feel free to swap it for MT for oRvR ganking.

Witchbrew+Treachery: http://www.wardb.com/career.aspx?id=22# ... 4:9:672:29
Looks horrible on paper due to the heavy split and small damage packets, but has possibly the highest DPS of the three and the best opener and finisher. Great against low/med armor targets, but considerably worse than OYK Carnage against tanks and a bit back loaded if WB expires. The build is 'complete' at RR50. As the damage bonus doesn't contribute to WB nor does it crit, the relative increase in damage over other builds decreases as you get better and better gear.

"This is the setup where you bind Pierce Armor to your Enfeebling Strike hotkey, so you can open spamming that button until you see the PA animation go off, allowing you to sneak a heavy damage attack in before the stun. To keep OYK and Masterful Treachery along with the magic immune you will need to use OYK to stun your target rather than Heartseeker. After the stun you have time to pop elixir or just start in with Wracking Pains for a debuff-critical target like a tank, or just start painting the walls with their blood spamming your Agonizing Wound." -Taransula, rr7x Gorfang

You really know your WE!! I will respect again...I want to be able to cause as much damage as you do...by the way this is Whitelightin...due to the many server merges I had to change my name three times, first it was Whitefire, then Whitefyre, and now Whitelightin.
Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this info, hopefully I will be able to rock like you do!
Jackie aka Whitefire, Whitefyre, Whitelightin...running out of names due to servers merge.

Bah, depend on your gameplay.
I love my full treachery, 'cause i played a lots in solo. Flanking + Masterful treachery is a good combo.
And Whity, Nilgoo had an amazing stuff (2 kriss of the undying torment!), so do not think that you will get that damage with a respect. There is no ultimate build, just better template to your gameplay.

I only have 1 Kris, which is imo enough because I'm only using it for the high wdps, and a sandstorm dagger in the offhand.

Full treachery probably pulls ahead for 1v1 if you have absurdly high crit, as WB doesn't crit. I saw a DROW(?) WE that was running, if my guess is right, around 65-75% crit, and was probably full treach with SS. The Misericord of Light is 1.7 speed iirc so using Kiss of Doom and crit SS for healing might not turn out too bad with a 150-250hp heal every gcd and 1500 hp or so from SS. I'll try this when i hit rr70 and get the last two pieces of DP. Something like...

http://www.wardb.com/career.aspx?id=22# ... 14:8864:29
Give or take a few skills

Crit = ~75% with +106% to crit damage, under ideal circumstances, from...

Oppurtunist III (+2+4+6)
Liniment (+5)
MoLight Proc (+9)
BS Weap (+4)
DP Set (+8)
WL Set (+8)
Riving Tali (+3 or +4)
Frenzied Mayhem (+0 to +15)
Onslaught Gem (+2)
Base Crit (~+10)

Maybe even drop BLB, max out Treach, and swap in Masterful Treachery for some insane burst damage. You really can't do this until higher levels though, because you need the renown skills, double setting DP+WL, and damage bonuses to make it work.

Once I hit rr70 I'll add this setup to the OP.

Edit: Added preliminary build to the OP.

I tested the high crit gear I could pull together but was still 11% short of 65% on the paper doll. I got some nasty 1.7k double crits with Heart Render Toxin (i'm still WB spec), and was doing around 960dps to the keep doors. I'll try out the proper build on the test mob later.
